What is Turkish Hammam?
Like the Moroccan Hammam, The Turkish Hammam treatment is an ancient cleansing tradition performed for the purposes of detoxification and cleansing of the body while providing ultimate relaxation. It is quite similar to our Moroccan Hammam with the differences found in the products used to perform the treatment.
Rather than Moroccan Black Olive Soap, Turkish coffee blended with coconut oil and a nourishing soap enriched with vitamins and minerals is used to exfoliate, detoxify and nourish the skin.
How is it performed?
As with the Moroccan Hammam Treatment, we recommend our clients spend time in our infrared dry sauna prior to receiving the Hammam Treatment for optimal results. This will open the pores nice and large, maximizing the benefits of the detoxification process.
Moroccan Black Soap is used to cleanse your skin and washed away with warm water.
For a deeper cleanse and exfoliation, Hammam Kese gloves will be used during your Hammam Treatment. Your service provider will use these double-sided gloves to enhance the exfoliation process, providing an invigorating sensation that only this type of defoliation technique may provide.
The Turkish Coffee Blend Scrub is then applied, removing dead skin cells while buffing away impurities and unclogging pores. The coffee is packed with antioxidants that promote new cell growth, improving the texture of the skin and creating a youthful, glowing appearance. The coconut oil will leave your skin feeling hydrated while reducing inflammation.
